Writing portfolio

A writing portfolio is a collection of your best writing clips in different topics. It


gives more consistent assessment of students’ work. Total mark for this portfolio is
20.

Rules:
1- Use your own writing only. No copy from other recourses (e.g., Google).
2- Don’t copy your classmate answer.
3- Any cut/copy paste work will get zero mark.
4- Use Font size 12 in your writing.

Write a paragraph about the advantage or disadvantage of one of the following
topics:
1- Small towns/Large cities.
2- Small families/Large families
3- Owing a car/ Using public transportation.

Include reasons for all of your opinions, and use connecting and transition words to
join your ideas.
Connecting words: in addition, also.
Transition words: First of all, finally, first, second, …etc.
Up to 10 lines are enough.

Think of one of your earliest childhood memories. Make note, and then write a
paragraph describing your memory in as much detail as possible.
A good description includes sense details: the things you can see, hear, touch, taste,
and smell.
