Welcome, welcome to the 13th Installment of

the most awaited event in the world of Politics, the Political Mileage!! I see that you’re all
getting ready to settle down!
Emcee #2: That’s right ! Just a quick reminder, in case you haven’t registered yet for
our awaited event, please make sure that you do because registration is still ongoing!
Emcee #1: And whilst you’re all doing that, we can see that there are several schools
who will be participating in the different events that will surely showcase your wits,
creativity and other talents! That being said, we would just like to mention to you as well
where each school/participants should be seated.
Emcee #2: That’s right, this event wouldn’t be completed kapag wala yung traditional
role call natin. So, where are the students from….( so on and so forth, salit salitan
nalang tayo here )
Emcee #1: Yes, but that aside I think we also have to introduce ourselves first, right,
[mention EMCEE #2’s name]? Why don’t you start first?
Emcee #2: Sure [Emcee #1’s name]! Alright so good Morning everyone, my name is… (
your intro here nalang hehe )
Emcee #1: And I am [ your name, year level and department or however u want to
introduce yourself ] and we are so thrilled to be your hosts for today!
Emcee #2: Alright it looks like everyone is already settled down, I think we can start na
right, [ emcee #1’s name ] ?
Emcee #1: Yes! But, I think it would be nice if we could do an energy check muna
Kuya/Ate [ emcee #2’s name ]
Emcee #2: True! So here’s how we’re gonna do our energy check, when I say, Political
Mileage, you say “Beyond Legacies”
#1: Yowwnn, perfect and energetic ang ating mga participants. Ready na ready na
talaga mag pakitang gilas!
#2: But, before we proceed with the contest proper and other ganaps, to formally start
the event, let us call on the University Glee Club to lead the opening prayer and the
singing of the Philippine National Anthem.
#1: Thank you so much Glee Club. Now, as we proceed to our main event, let us now
call on the APSS Adviser and Professor, Sir Percival S. Tordilla to give us an opening
remark. Let’s give him a round of applause.

#2: Moving on, to present to us the schedule of the event, let’s call on the APSS

#2: So, how’s everyone? Excited naba ang lahat? Well, papunta na tayo sa most
exciting part! Moving on, Let me now call on Ms. Jamie Rose Vale to present the judges
for each event.

#1: Thank you very much, Ms. Jamie, I hope natandaan ninyo kung saan ang venue
and kung anong oras ang events ninyo as well yung mga names ng mga judges. Don’t
worry, we have our volunteers and facis who will accompany you to your respective
venues. Moving on, Let me now call on Ms. Alleah Joy Jaucian to introduce to us the
speaker for this event.

Cartoon, Quiz Bee, Essay Writing and Public Speaking.
#2: But before that, we want to know something from you guys. How was your first

#1: Congratulations, guys! Ipag patuloy ninyo ang talento ng mga manunulat. Well, I
hope that you’re all prepared to witness a blazing and heated performance of the First
Runner Up of the Modern Dance Competition last Greyhounds Cup, let’s give it up for,
AS Modern Dance!
#1: Thank you so much, AS Modern Dance! Talagang pinakita ang galing nila. I hope
you all enjoy that amazing performance from our talented dancers. Onto our next
contest! (Public Speaking)
#2: Once again, congratulations to all the winners and participating teams. I hope that
you will be able to incorporate all of your learnings from your competition. Pero (Emcee
#1) parang naboboring ata ang mga participants natin. I think an energy check will be
the best thing to do.
