Gravyty Pitch Deck

1.) The executive summary is crucial to implementing a successful business plan. If the attention
of the reader is not captured in the executive summary then there is a strong likelihood that the
business plan will not be read. The executive summary for Gravyty has been done well but could
use some improvement. The first good thing I noticed is the summary is brief and gets to the
point addressing crucial aspects of the company. The executive summary has also done a good
job of illustrating the company's founders and the main purpose behind what the organization
wants to achieve and what they have currently achieved through their technology and customers.
Thirdly, the executive summary has done a good job analyzing their competition and describing
the company’s position within the market. The competition overview chart has been done well
(Gravyty is on the top right) indicating that the company compared to the competition is very
efficient in driving revenues & in predictive technology. They are also very cost efficient.
However, the summary can be improved in a number of categories. The summary needs to better
explain the competitive advantage that Gravyty has over its competition along with the fact that
the headers are not very straightforward and the executive summary is missing certain parts of
the internal business such as the main clients, operations and finances.

2.) Gravyty has done a good job in mapping out their presentation deck and I’ll explain why. The
first thing that was done well is that the deck has been kept brief and focuses on key aspects of
the businesses operations and their revenue drivers along with their business model. They also
highlighted the successes of their technology and how their platforms have helped customers.
The message delivered in the deck is very clear and the number of slides is limited which helps
to avoid confusion and get right to the point. I also love the fact that Gravyty included many
visuals and graphics to further explain their analysis ranging from market focus to their product
roadmap.

3.) The deck sometimes feels a little cluttered and certain sections have too much information or
too little. Some of the graphics included in the pitch deck like under “Fundraising 1.0 and 2.0”
are hard to read and I can’t make out the words. The Business model that they described in their
pitch deck doesn’t really do a good job of tying in with their financials; it's too simple and not
enough detail is transcribed. Also it would have been nice to have a table of contents included in
the beginning of the pitch deck because it was hard to follow along when there was no structure
built in. Their “Use of Proceeds” I feel is too broad since it only covers 2-3 sections of their
business and not specific enough to give us a good overview of where resources are actually
being allocated.

4.) Yes, there are certain actions that Adam and Rich should take before they launch. They did a
good job on the competition overview chart but they missed some crucial steps. They should
have done a comparative analysis as well on their different products to show how their value
propositions are better than what their competition is offering and how they will be competitive

against companies like Advizor Solutions and Persuant who are their direct competitors. This
would have provided Gravyty with more resources to show why they are the better choice than
their competition. They also should work towards developing a more soundproof sales strategy
and marketing strategy that is in conjunction with their business model because otherwise they
will have gaps in other areas of their business like in operations and finances. Most importantly
they need to learn good organizational skills because the pitch deck felt out of place at times and
there was no table of contents to guide the reader.

5.) As I said previously, the pitch deck was done well but it could have been improved in certain
areas. The structure of the pitch deck along with certain visuals and graphics could have been
improved and enhanced to be more eligible. The competitive analysis that they conducted was
good but it missed certain elements that would have made it better. They didn’t include a
comparative analysis of their different products or a good description of the value propositions
that would have made them look better than their competition. They also didn’t explain the
competitiveness of their direct competition that offer similar products/services. Certain sections
of the deck like their financials, use of proceeds & their business model should have included
more analysis because they were too broad and a little confusing to understand. They should
have elaborated more on their sales and marketing strategies because it doesn’t do enough to
understand what the company is trying to achieve. Certain sections are too broad with not
enough information or lack good visuals while other areas are too disorganized. The body should
have been proofread 1-2 more times because certain information is missing from the pitch deck.
