C. Thông tin cơ bản về học phần
1. Mục tiêu của học phần
1.1. Kiến thức
Người học có thể nhận biết, phân biệt và thực hành các âm riêng lẻ trong tiêng Anh thông
qua các bài học trong khóa học. Ngoài ra, người học sẽ được tìm hiểu sâu hơn về quy tắc
phát âm, trọng âm từ, trọng âm câu hay ngữ điệu trong từng tình huống, mục đích giao
tiếp cụ thể. Người học sẽ có kiến thức nền tảng về phát âm thông qua các bài thực hành
chi tiết, nhận biết được các vấn đề liên quan tới phát âm tiếng Anh, từ đó biết áp dụng vào
thực tế.
1.2. Kĩ năng
Kết thúc học phần người học có khả năng áp dụng các kiến thức đã được học trong khóa
học để tự điều chỉnh phát âm của mình, cũng như sửa lỗi phát âm.
Kỹ năng làm việc nhóm, thảo luận, trình bày ý kiến và nghiên cứu tài liệu liên quan tới
ngữ âm, âm vị, ngữ điệu, hay trọng âm.
Kỹ năng phân tích và giải đáp các vấn đề liên quan tới ngữ âm, âm vị: âm vô thanh, hữu
thanh, nguyên âm, phụ âm, đồng âm, trọng âm.
1.3. Thái độ
Người học có thái độ tích cực trên lớp, tự nghiên cứu tài liệu trước các bài học, thực hành
các bài tập đầy đủ, tham gia tích cực vào các thảo luận, làm việc nhóm hiệu quả. Sau môn
học, người học có thái độ đúng đắn khi phát âm tiếng Anh, nâng cao nhận thức về tầm
quan trọng của phát âm, sử dụng đúng ngữ điệu khi diễn đạt ý bằng lời nói.
2. Tóm tắt nội dung học phần
Môn học giới thiệu chi tiết về các vấn đề trong ngữ âm, âm vị trong tiếng Anh. Các bài
học được thiết kế chủ yếu để phát triển kĩ năng thực hành phát âm của người học thông
qua các bài tập dạng audio, hình ảnh minh họa và bài tập thực hành trong mỗi 1 bài học
riêng lẻ. Mỗi bài học riêng lẻ sẽ giới thiệu, hướng dẫn chi tiết từng âm cụ thể, và bài tập
thực hành đi kèm. Có ba phần chính trong khóa học: phần thứ nhât là phần thực hành các
nguyên âm, phụ âm trong tiếng Anh, phần 2 tập trung vào các âm tiết và trọng âm từ,
trọng âm câu, phần 3 tập trung vào ngữ điệu và các vấn đề liên quan tới phát âm trong các
tình huống giao tiếp, hội thoại cụ thể.
