AIR

• How do you explain water to preschoolers?

• Air is all around us, but we can’t see it. So what is air, exactly? It’s a mixture of different gases.
The air in Earth’s atmosphere is made up of approximately 78 percent nitrogen and 21 percent
oxygen. Air also has small amounts of lots of other gases too.

WATER

• How do you explain water to preschoolers?

• Water is the liquid that makes life on Earth possible. All living things, from tiny
cyanobacteria to giant blue whales, need water to survive. Without water, life as we know it
would not exist. And life exists wherever there is water.
Water, water from the stream,
When it boils it turn to steam,
Water, water is so nice,
Freeze it cold, it turn to ice,
Cool the steam, warm the ice,
It’s water again clear and nice.
2. WEATHER
LEARNING CONCEPT OF WEATHER
• The sun warms the earth
• Changing air temperatures make wind
• Evaporation and condensation cause precipitation (Penyejatan dan kondensasi
menyebabkan hujan)
• Raindrops can break up sunlight
• Weather can be measured
• Lightning is static electricity
3. OUR ENVIRONMENT
CLASS ACTIVITY

• In a group
• Plan ONE interesting introduction to teach any of the environment science concept to pre-
schooler.
• Not more than TWO minutes.
• Demonstrate the introduction in class.
