Top footballers, tennis players and other athletes certainly don’t deserve

the extravagant sums they earn

In my opinion this statement has two sides. I agree and disagree at the same time
because this topic is two-sided.
On the one hand, I think that all athletes work really hard for their victory. If they win
against another competitor, it is because they trained more than the other.
They did more for their success. They put more energy in their work, and more money in the
trainings, and I agree on this side.
On the other hand, I don’t think they deserve that much money. Yes, there is an acceptable
amount of money, but nowadays they get insanely lot money.
What is more, if they put a lot in the success, they deserve the money. But they don’t deserve
it if they have a good sponsor ship with a bigger company, and get money for wearing their
brand on a competition. Because this way everyone can get free success.
To summarize, I think every athlete can get an acceptable amount of money for their
hard work, and not for sponsor and advertisements.
