Topic: Some people think that the company should increase the salary of all the
employees every year. Others think that the company should increase the salary of the
employees who only bring good results. What is your opinion on this matter?
There are a lot of different perspectives on whether company should increase the salary
of all the employees every year or not or only increase the salary of the employees who
bring good results. This is a topic of much debate, and the companies must face dilemma
of between two choices. In my point of view, company should adopt a mixed approach
because it shows that organization not only decrease pressure in life of workers but also
value of exceptional results which are created by talented staffs. In this essay, I will
discuss why companies should use this method and provide specific example to
illustrate my position.
There are several reasons why I believe that all employees should deserve a base salary
increase each year. Firstly, inflation is a part of the life, and it erodes the purchasing
power of money over times. By increasing the salary of all employees, the companies
ensure that their earnings keep pace with the rising cost of living. This is important to
salary increase sends positive message to employees that they are valued and
appreciated. It can help to create a culture of loyalty and commitment, which can have
long-term benefits for the company. For instance, I have worked in a position with a
similar salary for many years. Currently, I cannot cover my living expenses with this
income, and it is difficult to fully focus on my work while thinking about what to eat
tomorrow.
However, I also believe that high-performing employees should be rewarded for their
stock options, or other incentives. By rewarded employees who bring good results, the
company sends a clear message that excellence is recognized and rewarded. This can
motivate employees to work harder an strive for excellence, knowing that their efforts
will be recognized and appreciated. For example, when I was working as a salesperson.
