I. Environment:
- Review the physical environment to ensure it is safe, clean, and conducive to learning.
- Assess the availability of materials and resources needed to support learning experiences.
- Identify any barriers that may hinder program effectiveness and take corrective action.
- Provide ongoing support and supervision to staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed
to meet program standards.
III. Defined outcomes for children, families, staff, and for the program:
- Identify desired outcomes for children, families, staff, and the program.
- Use data to determine the effectiveness of changes made and adjust as needed.
- Develop a plan to ensure staff are culturally competent and able to meet the needs of all children and
families in the program.
- Provide ongoing training and support to ensure staff effectively communicate with families from diverse
backgrounds.
- Align program goals and activities with the WI Model Early Learning Standards.
- Use the standards as a guide to ensure program effectiveness and quality.

ability to meet high-quality standards:
