STEP 1

• Make a orthagraphic picture of your box with

your measurements so you know the sizes you
need to cut
STEP 2

• Get a board with your measurements

make sure to add up sides properly
once you have got your piece of
wood you head over to the mitre saw
and set it up make sure you have ear
and eye protection also see how
much you need to cut and line it up
with the stopper so you can get the
perfect cut each time
STEP 3

• Than head over to the table saw and get your

peices and make your dato cuts to do so line
up your piece of wood with the blade make
sure blade height is correct than see where
you want to make your cut get your hearing
and eye protection and begin your cut do the
same for all 4 peices
STEP 4

• Do another dado cut but this time bigger and

on the edges of 2 pieces chose your smaller
pieces if you want and than be ready to run it
through its same as before but this time you
may need to bring your piece of wood back
towards you to make your it fully cuts and
make sure to cut off bits and pieces of access
STEP 5

• Begin to sand to do so you gotta first make sure

you have hearing and eye protection than head
over to the sanders start with the first orange
sandpaper than move your way up until nice and
smooth and make sure to use red sander towards
the end than you raise the grain to do so get a
damped wet paper towel and than apply it to
your wood and do it for all your pieces and than
you sand once again and it will be really smooth
STEP 6

• Than get an piece for your lid and

bottom use a piece similar to this and
than see if it fits your datos if it does
than cut the piece to the length of the
box for the top and bottom you will
do this on the table saw and make
sure to use hearing and eye
protection and use an push stick if
needed also make sure to clamp your
piece in
STEP 7

• Than put all your pieces together and see if the box
looks correct and if you need to make any final
adjustments before glueing it all together when you are
ready head to the glueing station and make your not to
use to much glue only the right amount and don’t put it
all over the table or the box and make sure to use your
finger to apply the glue and make sure to do it on both
sides of the cut to make sure it is firm and enough to
hold your item
STEP 8
• Give your piece arounf 24 hours to
fully glue and be stable and once it is
stable we are going to sand again
first we are going to use the belt disk
sander while using this machine we
can not push our piece towards the
belt because if so it will sand way to
much off so you have to be paying
attention to how much is getting
sanded off and also you sand only 2
of your sides than you head over to
the smalled sanders and sand once
again using all 3 of them
 STEP 9

• Cut your lid to do so you head over to the

bandsaw to use this machine you will need hearing
and eye protection and than you first measure from
the wood stopper to the end of the steel plate and
see how many inches it is for example I did 11 and
than you put it exactly on that measurement on
both sides once done that you will lift up the blade
to fit your boxes size than line it up make sure is
not crooked and than run it through while running it
through either use a stopper or ur fingers can push
the back if your piece is large
STEP 10

• Once lid is cut off find an design you like to

laser than get an usb and head over to the
laser from there you will put your image onto
the computer and size it correctly than trace
the image once done that you will check if the
speed is correct if so than find the middle
orgin of your box and use tape to mark it and
line it up with red dot also bring the laser
down to do so use the knob and bring it down
to fit your peice
