Rule Book

Pitch Bite
Brief: A team of 4 students will be asked to create an idea and marketing strategy for a existing
problem statement. Students have to prepare a presentation on their given problem statement,
and put forth in the competition.

Round 1: Screening Round

1. The topics for the Pitch Bite will be given before 72-48 hrs of the competition
2. You are required to come up with an idea, explained through a presentation and an
advertisement for marketing strategy.
3. Each team will have (7+2) minutes for the presentation.
4. The maximum Time Limit for performing the Ad is 2 minutes.
5. Your Presentation should not expose biases against any caste, community, or religion.
6. Use of vulgar expression and language will lead to disqualification of the team.

Round 2: Final Round

1. The topics for the Pitch Bite:Finale will be given on the spot and will be specific start-up
products.
2. Each team will be given 20 minutes to prepare a base idea for the solution.
3. Each team will be given 10 extra minutes after preparation to strategize an AD for their
respective product.
4. Each team will be given (7+2) minutes for presentation
5. The maximum Time Limit for performing the Ad is 2 minutes.
6. Your presentation should not expose biases against any caste, community, or religion.
7. Use of vulgar expression and language will lead to disqualification of the team.

Criteria for Judgment:

● Content information, Awareness, solution found and Humor


● There shall be an element of either Relatability or Absurdism
● Spontaneity/Expressions /Acting/Fluency
● The appeal of the Advertisement and presentation (using Catchy and unique taglines,
motto of the solution)
● Overall presentation and marketing strategy

Awards:

● Each Team will get an e-certificate of participation


● The top 3 teams will be awarded surprising prizes
Presentation format:

● It should have a minimum of 5 slides to maximum of 12 slides.


● It should cover all the areas according to the rubrics given for the competition.
● Your presentation should not expose biases against any caste, community, or religion.
● Use of vulgar expression and language will lead to disqualification of the team.
