If you are subject to a storage limit, a storage monitor will appear in several places in your seller account,
including your Shipping Queue. If you are not subject to a storage limit, the storage monitor will not be
displayed.
You can remove or dispose of inventory at any time by submitting a removal order. See Remove inventory
(overview).
To determine which of your products is standardsize and which are oversize, see Product size tiers.
Storage limits are automatically evaluated every month to determine whether or not your limit should be
adjusted. Your current inventory level takes into account your inventory in Amazon fulfillment centers, and
any processed removal orders.
Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your inventory level to be updated once a shipment is received at
an Amazon fulfillment center.
The green, yellow, and red indicators also alert you to how close you are to your limit:
Yellow Your inventory level is between 75% and 90% of your limit
If you send more inventory than your storage limit allows, the extra inventory may be refused at the
fulfillment center. For more information, see Shipping and Routing Requirements.
There are three ways to decrease the amount of inventory you have in an Amazon fulfillment center:

When you submit a removal order or make similar changes, the inventory storage monitor won't reflect the
changes until your request has been processed, which typically happens on the following day.
Note: Decisions are made on a casebycase basis, and are influenced by factors such as inventory
turnover rates and the type of inventory you currently maintain.
