1. Type 0

Usage:
• สิงทีเปนจริงเสมอ (ถ้านําแข็งละลาย มันจะกลายเปนนํา – ความ
จริงตามธรรมชาติ)
• สิงทีเราทําเปนปกติ (ถ้าฉันไปชายหาด ฉันจะใช้ครีมกันแดด –
ฉันใช้ครีมกันแดดเสมอ เมือฉันไปชายหาด)
ExampIe:
If ice melts, it turns into water.
If you don’t exercise, your muscle
mass decreases.
 2. Type 1
if present simple ,
will/can/should/+ verb
infinitive
will/can/should/+ verb
infinitive + if present
simple
Usage:
เราจะใช้กับเหตุการณ์สมมติทีน่าจะเกิดขึนใน
อนาคต
 If it rains, I will stay
home.

ExampIe:
If the traffic is bad,
I won’t be there in
time.
2. Type 2
Example:
if past simple , would + verb infinitive
would + verb infinitive + if present simple
Usage:
เราจะใช้กับเหตุการณ์สมมติในปจจุบน
ั หรืออนาคตทีมีโอกาส
เปนไปได้น้อย
If I won the lottery, I would
travel around the world.
If I had a car, I wouldn’t take
the bus.
2. Type 3
if past perfect , would have+ past participle
would have+ past participle + if past perfect
Usage:
เราจะใช้กับเหตุการณ์สมมติในอดีต ซึงไม่มท
ี างเปนจริงได้
เพราะอดีตเปนสิงทีผ่านมาแล้ว
Example:
If I had studied hard, I would have passed
the exam.
If I hadn’t been sick, I would have gone to
the cinema.
