Report on the Celebration of Constitution Day in the School

The celebration of the Constitution Day was organised in the school with due respect to the
Constituent Assembly, its leaders and the constitution on 25th November, 2023, as 27th
November, 2023 happened to be a holiday for the school on account of Guru Nanak Jayanti.

In view of the importance of the day, the following programmes and activities were held in
the school.

1. In due respect to the day, a special morning assembly was held for all the students and
staff of the school.
2. The thought for the day was taken from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and shared in the
assembly.
The Thought - “I am proud of my country, India, for having a constitution that
enshrines principles of democracy, socialism, and secularism.”
3. The Headmistress read the preamble of the constitution in Hindi and English and the
entire school community repeated after her.
4. Shri. Varghese V P addressed the students and explained the importance of our
constitution and the contributions of the Constituent Assembly.
5. The Principal, Shri, Vijay Kumar Shukla, addressed the students and exhorted each
member of the school community to follow the values enshrined in the constitution.
6. The programme was concluded with the singing of the National Anthem by the entire
school community of students and staff.

It was another enriching and memorable day for everyone in the school.
