Đề 8: What do you think an ideal teacher should be?

In my opinion, I do believe that to become an ideal teacher requires some importants

criteria. First and foremost, a good teacher should be knowledgeable enough to teach from
normal to gifted students. A qualification from a university is vital for this, it points out that
teachers have undergone higher education and be ready to teach. Secondly, the attentiveness
and sympathy are aslo much-needed for a qualified teacher. Teachers need them to follow
with students, help students if they have any problems in the process of studying, which
contribute to the increase in the quality of lessons. They also play an important role in the
realtionship between teachers and pupils. Last but not least, the teaching methods are on of
the most useful skills to teachers. If the teachers do not teach in a right way, many students
will understand it lower or even cannot, which contribute to the boredom or even the bad
results in exams. In conclusion, a good teacher must have knowledge, attentiveness and
effective teaching method.

Đề 9: Face book dominates the free-time for too many people especially the
students. It can have negative effect on their study and the physical development.
Do you agree or disagree?
Personally, I do subcribe to the view that Facebooks nowadays are dominating the
free-time of many people especially students. My first justification is that it is a major source
of distraction. Each day, there are thousand of notifications which divert your attention from
your learning work and you get into a s… if you do not reply or comment on them. This is
just a waste of time and can lead to bad performance at school. Secondly, it is undeniable that
using too much Facebook can lead to many serious diseases. Sitting in front of the screens for
hours can cause obesity or short-sightness. It also results in the inactive of children, which
can sometimes contribute to depression and fear of social. Last but not least, Facebook exerts
detrimental on the students’s ability to communicate effectively in real-life situations. They
have aversion to talking with real people, which contributes to the social isolation. In
conclusion, using Facebook has its own drawbacks, so people should use it properly.

Đề 10: This is a part of a letter you have received from a pen pal in England. Read
it and write a letter to answer his/ her question. (120 words) (10 points)

I’m wondering whether to buy a new calculation from a shop or

on the Internet. Have you ever bought anything online? Is it
better to buy things from the shops?

Dear Tom,

How are you going now? I am writing this letter to advise you whether to buy calculation
online or from a shop.
Personally, I think that you should buy the calculation from a shop rather than online. Buying
directly can help you rate the product more correctly and test whether it is suitable for your
choice. Secondly, you can be scammed if you buy online. Many seller will take your money and
then deliver to you a worse calculator or even nothing.

It’s just my opinion. It’s always you who make the choice. How do you buy it. Write back ASAP

Your friend,

Kien
