1. Write a descriptive essay on your favorite food.

What I love to eat is very familiar to young people in Vietnam, and it is

sweetened porridge. This is what most of children in the countryside wait for their
mothers to bring home after they go to the market. It is made of glutinous rice, bean
with some shredded coconut, coconut milk, sugar, and crusted peanut on top.
There are many different versions of this food, and each region has the
own way to make it. We can also add in sweet potato, banana, corn, or lotus seed.
They do not seem to match each other at first, but actually, they can make a really
good combination. Although they look different, after all, they are snacks that most
Vietnamese people love.
Besides, they can have positive impacts on our health if we know how
to cook them properly. For example, the corn and sweet potato porridge are good for
our digestive system, and the lotus seed porridge helps us to cool down our body.
They are mainly made of natural ingredients, so I think they are better for us to eat
than other junk foods.
Sweetened porridge is one of the traditional dishes of Vietnam, and we
easily come across them at some events such as Tet holiday, Mid-autumn festival,
Mid-year festival, the first birthday party of a baby, etc. A lot of them have their own
meanings. For example, the sweet rice ball with green bean filling means reunion or
the red bean porridge means luck and success.
Sweetened porridge is such a popular dish in Vietnam, and it is also my
favorite snack of all time. This is not just a simple dish, it is also a soul of
Vietnamese cuisine.

about two salespeople who have influenced your purchasing decisions.
Customers know that there are different types of salespeople. Some
salespeople are successful and other are not. This comparision-contrast essay about
two type salespeople.
First, successful salespeople make every effort to understand the
customer and then relate to him or her. They realize that what they value is of little
significance unless it’s also valued by customers. Less successful salespeople only
discuss value when dealing with price cutters. And by then it’s usually too late.
Otherwise, many sales are lost because of a lack of consistent follow-up.
Prospects are taking longer than ever to make decisions. Following up means staying
abreast of the customer’s business and keeping an eye out for new trends, products or
services that may impact the prospect’s business. Lack of follow-up is a common
problem for unsuccessful salespeople.
My case is an example of this. I went to buy a new laptop in two stores
that I chose before and each store had a different experience.
In the first store, the consultant for me was a female employee, quite
young and pretty, welcoming me very warmly. nothing happened until I asked her to
advise me on a laptop that I liked, her attitude and words became unusual. She
introduced the product in a non-specific manner and with a very grumpy attitude. I
was a bit annoyed, it felt like she didn't want to sell the machine to me. I wanted to
touch the machine, she said that the store did not allow customers to touch the
product without paying, but at that time, there was a customer next to it was touching
the machine. I was very upset and felt I couldn't stay here any longer, so I politely
thanked her and left. I'm a customer who needs advice to make a purchase anyway,
I've done nothing wrong to be treated like this.
I went to the second store, the consultant for me here is also a female
employee, about the same age as the employee at the before store, especially she has
a beautiful smile that alleviated my discomfort somewhat. She greeted me warmly
and politely, directly asking what I needed to buy. Carefully bring the product for
me, let me touch it, meticulously introduce every detail about it. I am quite satisfied
with her attentive service and most impressive is that she has a convincing voice. I
decided to buy the machine, the staff member also assisted me in the payment, let me
check the machine and accessories, guide the installation. I'm glad I bought machine
I like. More satisfied when receiving the attentive and enthusiastic service and advice
of the consultant.
To sum up, It can be clearly seen that well-behaved sellers are more like
to achieve buyer’s esteem. An intelligent dealer is the one who can prevail people to
buy his products by a severe knowledge and show them solutions for their needs, not
insisting clients on buying anything.

3. Write an opinion essay on positive and negative effects of the online

learning model.
In recent years, online learning has become increasingly popular among
the students and this is perceived differently by learners. Many students perceive this
as a beneficial aid in learning while others think that they are not as much effective
as classroom teaching. This essay will discuss about the merits and demerits of
distant learning.
Studying an online course provides a flexible timing and less budgeted
learning for students. They are able to learn their desire course and subjects on their
suitable time. This gives a great opportunity for learners to gain new skills and
strengthen their knowledge level staying in their own place.
However, online courses give more emphasis on the theoretical part of
learning and there is less teacher and student interaction. It lacks the practical aspects
of learning and encourage the passive learning. This is very obvious that students
find it as a less effective learning than in the classroom.
In conclusion, the ever growing availability of online learning has
gained its popularity among the young adults for many years, which is perceived as
beneficial by many people while others find it to be less effective. The emphasis can
be given to its effectiveness to establish it as a more cost effective learning method
than the classroom teaching.

4. Many schools offer participation in sports as part of the curriculum.

However, other schools do not. They claim that their job is to teach skills such
as reading and math. Write an essay in which you agree or disagree with the
following topic: Learning to play sports teaches valuable life skills.
Many schools offer participation in sports as part of the curriculum.
However, other schools do not. They claim that their job is to teach skills such as
reading and math. I belive that sport teaches us valuable life skills.
First, sport teaches tenacity. The ability to fail and learn from the
setback and move forward is a vital life skill. Learning that failure is not the end, but
part of the learning experience has far-reaching implications, affecting our self-
esteem, our resilience, and our mental agility. These skills are vital for success as we
grow into adults to survive and thrive life’s setbacks and challenges.
Secondly, sport teaches teamwork. Even if you are naturally someone
who is happy with your own company or more introverted, there are times when you
will need to collaborate. Sport encourages the development of this skill set.
Finally, sport teaches discipline. Motivation is finite but our capacity for
motivation can be bolstered. If from a young age we are taught the benefits of “type
2 fun” and hone the ability to work towards a greater reward, evidence show s that
people are less likely to suffer from depression and experience greater life
satisfaction.
To sum up, learning to play sport helps us learn things such as
resilience, leadership, accountability, respect and patience. Lessons that sports teach
us can help us develop as players and all round good people too.
