About Document
Objective of this user manual is giving details of BMS SCADA Package. It covers all user
interfaces developed in Station level SCADA system to operate major equipment to operate
day by day activities in Metro Station.
This document will also guide Station operator to monitor vital parameters in BMS which will
enable to take decisions regarding controlling operations. Major system/Equipment covered
in this document are as follows.
1. HOME SCREEN
1.Fire Alarm and Detection – Operator can click on Fire Alarm and Detection for detail view
of system.
2.Lifts and Escalators – Operator can click on Lifts and Escalators for detail view and
emergency on and off.
3.Fire Fighting – Operator can click on Fire Fighting for detail status.
4.Power Supply – Operator can click on Power Supply for detail status.
5. Water distribution and Sump Pump– Operator can click on Drinking Water and Sump
Pump for detail status.
6.Air Conditioning and Ventilation – Operator can click on Air Conditioning and Ventilation
for detail status and control.
7.Lighting – Operator can click on Lighting for detail view of status and control.
8.Fans – Operator can click on Fans for detail status and control.
9.Home – If Operator want to come from any screen to directly home page then he needs to
click on Home Button.
10.Prev - If Operator wants to go in Previous page then he needs to click on Prev Button.
11.Next - If Operator wants to go in Next page then he needs to click on Next Button.

12.Alarm – If any Alarm appears in any system, then respective button will blink in Red Color
as shown in below image. Action to be taken as per SOP or inform Controller depending on
the situation
13. Event – All Event will be shown in Event page. Operator can see the events by clicking it
on Event Button.
14. Login
15. Logoff
All status can be viewed wihtout Login. However for any control, LOG IN is compulsory.

Operator can go to each level by clicking it on level shown in below -

Action: -
Flashing with beeping will indicate detection of fire. Station Master can identify the
area from 3 Screens and take necessary action as per SOP.
Lift Status :-
Action : -
1. Operator can view lift position (Concourse, Ground or Platform.). Operator can
observe travel direction of lift.

2. Operator can check running direction of escalator on screen. Operator can give
command to escalator in direction which is selected by admin. If operator gives
command to Escalator, He need to wait for some seconds. “Please Wait” message
will be displayed.
3. For any faults or any emergency purpose, Operator shall contact Control room.
4. FIRE FIGHTING
After opening FIRE FIGHTING tab, we can view ON/OFF/Trip status for Diesel pump, Electric
main pump and Jockey pump, Water pressure, High level, low level Switch status as well as
water level of fire water tank.
Action: -
1. Operator can be monitor pipeline pressure, Pump status and Water level in Fire tank.
2. Alarms will be generated in case of low pressure in hydrant pipeline or water level.
4. POWER SUPPLY
The Domestic water system is designed to circulate water in station for washing, flush, etc.
To automate the water supply and maintain the water across all tanks the system is
interfaced with BMS.
1. After clicking on DRINKING WATER AND SUMP PUMP tab, Water level status of
water tanks will be available. Running status of Distribution pumps, Sump pumps,
and Borewell pumps also can be viewed.
2. Refer to legend provided at the screen for status as per colour codes.

Action: -
1. For remote operation, selector switch will be in Remote mode. Indication of Remote mode will
be available on Pump Symbol as “R”. If it is in Local mode, It will show “L”.
2. Operator should observe water level on Screen. Pumps will run in Auto mode.
3. If any water level is low and still pump is not running (abnormal condition) then Operator need
to inform to controller for corrective action.

1. For Air Conditioning control, click on blue button provided in each area with air conditioning.
Controls provided are: -
ON/OFF control
MODE control (Cool mode, Dry mode, Heat and Auto mode).

M - AC OFF
- Room Temperature
• Cool Mode
• Dry mode
• Fan mode
• Heat mode
• Auto mode.
Action: -
1. Operator can Make AC On/ Off individually in Manual mode. Fan Speed, Temperature
setpoint and operation mode can be changed from screen.
2. In Auto mode, ACs will operate as per schedule time. Operator intervention is not required in
Auto mode

8 LIGHTING
CONCOURSE LEVEL
For manual Control click on Manual ON tab provided and select MANUAL OVERRIDE and will be able
to ON/OFF lights as per requirement.

Action:-
Operator can Switch On/Off Lighting in manual mode as per requirement. However manual mode
will be overridden by auto mode after 3 hours of operation. For any faults or any emergency,
Operator should contact control room.

9 FAN CONTROL
Fans are segregated in two groups for controlling.
• Platform-1
• Platform-2
In Fan Control Page, where we can select the desired area between
a). CONCOURSE LEVEL Click here to open
b). PLATFORM LEVEL Platform Level
PLATEFORM LEVEL
Action: -
1. Normally fans will run in Auto mode with Set Timings for commercial hours and
season. (Can be modified by Administrator login.)
2. Operator can override Auto mode by selecting manual override and switch “ON”
or OFF. After 3 hours fans will again go in Auto Mode.
3. If FAN is stopped even after Manual On, Controller to be informed.
