About the Authors

] Arnold G. Boldt
After experiencing his own “downsizing” in 1994, Arnie Boldt explored a
number of options before partnering with his wife, Gail Smith Boldt, to form
Arnold-Smith Associates, which has helped thousands of job seekers who have
found themselves in transition. Since then, he has honed his skills to become
recognized as one of the premier resume writers in the country, contributing to
more than 30 different books by eight different authors, including numerous
titles by No-Nonsense Resumes co-author, Wendy Enelow.
In 2004, he was nominated for two prestigious TORI Awards (presented by
Career Directors International) in the categories of Best Creative Resume and
Best Cover Letter. He has spoken on resume-related topics to groups in the
healthcare and manufacturing fields, as well as delivering presentations geared
to the older worker and to executives in transition.
Mr. Boldt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communications from
Clarkson University and is a Certified Professional Resume Writer and Job &
Career Transition Coach. He prides himself on his experience working with the
broadest array of clients, ranging from tradespeople and new graduates to
corporate executives. A lifelong resident of upstate New York, he makes his
home with his wife and two Chihuahuas in a suburb of Rochester.

] Wendy S. Enelow
Wendy Enelow is a well-known and well-respected authority in resume
writing and career coaching, and has been in private practice for more than 25
years. To date, she has guided more than 5,000 professional, management, and
executive clients to achieve their career goals by providing them with best-in-
class resumes, cover letters, and job search strategies. In addition, she has

Ms. Enelow is a frequently requested speaker at national conferences and

Ms. Enelow holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of
