MY FAVOURITE SEASON

My favourite season is summer because I like warm, sunny weather. In summer the sun
shines, it’s hot and it doesn’t rain. You wear shorts, T-shirts, caps, baseball caps, sunglasses.
Girls wear tops, skirts, flip-flops and dresses.

In summer I spend a lot of time in nature, in the fresh air. I like sports. I go running,
swimming, playing tennis, cycling. I go for a walk. I eat ice cream. I eat cold fruit soup. I cut
the grass. I go on holiday with my family every summer. We usually travel to Lake Balaton.
When we are at Lake Balaton, we swim, play beach volleyball, badminton and Frisbee. We
eat fish.

I don’t like winter because it’s cold. Nature is beautiful when it snows and lakes and rivers are
frozen, but I prefer warm and sunny weather.

The most popular sports in winter are skiing, ice-skating, snowboarding, playing ice-hockey.
In winter when it’s cold, you wear a warm jacket, a scarf, a pair of gloves and boots.
