The Health Career Access
Program (HCAP) is a paid
work and training program for
people looking to start their
health care career.
You can expect:
• Paid on-the-job training
• Fully-funded tuition
• Stipend to attend school
• Your registered care aid
license (upon
graduation)

between Fraser Health and the
Ministry of Health focused on
training and supporting the next
generation of community health
workers.
What do community health
workers do?
Community health workers
provide personal care and
assistance to support clients
remain independent at home.
You’ll work together with your
team to make positive impacts in
the lives of your clients, every
day.

will be with you every step of
your HCAP journey.

regular check-ins and additional
professional development
