Subject: Obsolete power supply for remote I/O racks

Product Model: Sdi™ and DCI

Effectivity: Sdi™ and DCI systems with CEAG LB9104 power supplies

Affected Assemblies: CEAG Remote I/O racks

Objective
Inform our customers that the CEAG power supply LB9104, NOV Part Number C.101069, will no longer
be availiable for spare part purchase from 01-Jan-2018.

Issue
Older CEAG based I/O racks uses a series of LB9104 power supplies. These power supplies will no longer
be available for spare parts. Replacement models are not directly compatible with the old racks, and
modifications are required before using replacement parts.

Solution
NOV recommends that the customer upgrades their remote I/O systems to our current standard. To
minimize offshore installation time NOV can provide new remote I/O systems and the required software
update, fully set up and I/O tested.

The modification can be implemented in field with 4 hours of unrestricted access to the Sdi™ system.
