Project Work Guidelines for the students(B.Sc – CS) – 2022-24

1. The student/students can do the project work individually or form a team of two members.
2. The student shall communicate to their respective project guide and progress their project work under
their guidance.
3. The project work can be on any algorithms or concepts of the computer science field.
4. The student shall complete the work on or before the deadline mentioned.
5. The team must sincerely present each review.
6. The student can submit the project report only after completing the reviews on the stipulated dates.
7. Their project guide shall review the team's review on each stage of the project work.
8. The reviews are to monitor the progress of the project work done by the students.
⮚ First review –This is to review the student's initial stage. The student shall present the
algorithm/concept, project ideas, existing system, why this project, Architecture of the
project. Also, include software and hardware specifications for the project as presentation.
Abstract of the project to be submitted to the respective guides .
⮚ Second review – It is the next stage of the project. This student shall present their software
design of the project in detail and the algorithms, database tables, Input and output design,
modules of the project as a ppt.
⮚ Third review - The student shall execute and show the outcome of their project work. The
student's project report draft shall be submitted to their guide and do the needful changes
advised by him/her.
9. A Formatting guidelines for the project report will be given to the students.The project report shall be
prepared using the given format.
10. Only after the completion of all three reviews to their guide by the team , their project work will
be accepted
11. Final review – The students shall present their project as a ppt and also submit the final copy of project
report to their respective guide.
12. For each stage a deadline is fixed for the submission of the work, if he/she fails to meet those
deadlines, their internal marks shall be reduced.
13. Any issues related to the project - communicate the project co-ordinator.
14. Regularity to the reviews and Completion of the project on time is considered as attendance for
their project and internal marks out of 10 is awarded.
