BACKGROUND

A. Introduction

BANI RELOCATION ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is in its 22nd year of operation,

since its establishment in 2000. The National Power Corporation (NAPOCOR) opened
this educational institution for the families displaced by the establishment of the coal-
fired thermal Plant in Barangay Bani.
BRES is located at the heart of the Resettlement Area or the Relocation Area ,
Sitio Tugue, Brgy Taltal, Masinloc, Zambales approximately 5 km north west of
Masinloc town proper. The school’s land area covers 26,228 sqm meters. The school’s
catchment areas includes Sitio Tugue Barangay Taltal and the children of the
displaced families in barangay Bani.
BRES offers a complete elementary education, Kindergarten to Grades 6
It is classified under Small School Category. It caters 236 learners this school year
2022-2023. It has a total of 13 school personnel, which includes 8 permanent
teachers, 1 School Principal, 2 Learning Facilitators, 1 Utility Worker, and 1 Security
Guard funded by the Local School board.
It has a 3 buildings with 9 classrooms, 1 computer room, Principal’s Office, a
Reading Center, Canteen, and a multi purposed covered court.
