Dear Parents and Guardians,

Today, November 23, 2023, is an early dismissal reminder for all students from grade 7 to
grade 12. The early dismissal time is at 1:30 pm. We would like to inform you of today’s
transportation situation with our one yellow bus, our special transportation and the OC
Transpo. The purpose of today’s early dismissal is for Parent-Teacher Interviews for grade
7-8 students.

We have confirmed that the yellow bus, X05, and all of the special transportation vehicles will be
here at 1:30 pm to take students home.

The OC Transpo buses will not arrive early for students at 1:30 pm. OC Transpo buses that
are designated for St. Matthew will arrive at their regular time at 2:45 pm.

For our OC Transpo student commuters, who require assistance when selecting a route to
travel from school to home, here is a link that will provide your child with options for travelling

Once the planner is open, you will be required to adjust the trip to match your child’s needs:
● (A) should be the address of the school (origin).
● (B) should be your home address.
● “Depart At” should be selected.
● Date & time of departure should be entered: Thursday, November 23, 2023 at 13:30
(1:30 pm).

This information should help all of our students return home safely.
