ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT IN HOME ECONOMICS

S.Y 2018-2019
I. INTRODUCTION

Home Economics is a fun, interactive and relevant subject studied by all pupils. Theory and
practical lessons provide pupils with the opportunity to develop many lifelong skills. Home Economics
teach the pupils to become responsible citizens in the near future.

II. HIGHLIGHTS OF ACCOMPLISHMENT:

A. Pupil Development

1. Celebrated Nutrition Month

2. Conducted School Feeding Program

B. Teacher Development

1. Attending trainings and seminars conducted by the division and other levels.

C. Curriculum Development
1. Formulate and implement alternative models of teaching ang learning(application).
2. Improve instructional materials
3. Support and Follow DepEd Rules, Memorandum and Orders.

C. School Development
1. Construction of School Canteen (2019)

III. RECOMMENDATION
1. Promote the active involvement of parents, communities and local government in the
development of and implementation of school nutrition programs.
2. Consolidate and strengthen ongoing school based nutrition programs, aiming at
improved nutritional status and learning of school children and creating an appropriate
learning environment through nutrition education, school gardening and school meals,
nutritional assessment, clean water and sanitation, as well as physical activity education.
3. School canteen shall promote sales healthy foods and drinks.
3. Continuous school feeding program.
