Anticipated problems & Remedies during teaching:

Problem 1: In the beginning of pre–reading session ss may not understand the word

‘’gravity’’.

Remedy 1: According to expressions or feedback of students, T detects unknown word and

teaches the meaning by giving an example ‘’Take something in your hand and drop it’’ by

demonstrating the actions and T says ‘’The objects do not fall down in space because there is

less gravity in space.’’

Problem 2: In the lead-in part T may not get the answer ‘’Astronaut’’ from anyone.
Remedy 2: T gives an example of what comes to his mind about space by saying

‘’Astronaut’’.

The goal of the lesson: The goal of this lesson is to improve students’ reading skills and

teach how to detect present simple tense in a text.

Objectives: At the end of the lesson, students will be able to;

● detect the present simple tense structure in a reading text.

● differentiate simple present tense from other tenses.

● talk about the daily routine of an occupation.
