Problem Discription

There has been a noticeable increase in cases of improper waste disposal around our
neighborhood. Residents appear to be dumping debris, including home garbage and
other materials, in public places and vacant lots. This careless action endangers our
community's cleanliness, environmental health, and well-being.

Improper waste disposal has turned public places into dumping grounds for waste
products. The thoughtless abandoning of waste in these locations not only affects the
appearance of our neighborhood but also increases the risk of accidents and injuries.

Action Taken

We have taken the initiative to address the critical issue of improper waste disposal in our
community by organizing regular clean-up programs. These events encourage locals to
engage in the shared responsibility of keeping the environment clean and healthy. We
feel that by creating a sense of purpose and collective responsibility among our residents.
These clean-up projects will contribute to the immediate betterment of our neighborhood
and promote a long-term commitment to proper waste management methods. We
anticipate these programs will positively impact our community cohesion and
environmental sustainability.

Recommendations:

1. It is vital to implement a thorough community-wide awareness campaign to

educate citizens about the critical importance of appropriate garbage disposal and
the potential consequences of reckless behavior.
2. Taking a proactive approach, including increased patrols, surveillance, and
sanctions, is critical to discouraging persons from engaging in improper garbage
disposal techniques.
3. It is critical to form connections with local businesses, involving them in supporting
and advocating safe trash disposal practices, potentially through initiatives such
as providing adequate disposal bins or actively participating in community cleanup
operations.
