I. Title: “Clean-up and Segregate Waste for a More Healthy


Community ”

II. Introduction:
Our community in Barangay San Jose is confronted with an
escalating challenge regarding cleanliness and waste management. As
litter accumulates and improper waste disposal practices persist, our
environment suffers, leading to pollution and health hazards for
residents. To address these pressing concerns, we advocate for the
implementation of comprehensive waste segregation initiatives and
community-wide cleaning efforts. By fostering a culture of waste
segregation and organizing regular clean-up drives, we aim to cultivate
a cleaner, healthier environment for all. Together, let's take proactive
steps towards a more sustainable and vibrant community.

III. Objectives:
• To a cleaner and more attractive community environment.
• To create a safer and healthier living environment for community
members.
• To reduce environmental footprint, and to conserve natural resources.

IV. Methods and Activities:

• Conduct a community assessment to identify areas in need of clean-up


and waste segregation initiatives
• Recruit and train a team of volunteers to lead clean-up efforts and
promote waste segregation practices.
• Collaborate with local authorities and waste management agencies to
obtain support and resources for clean-up activities.
• Provide educational materials and workshops to raise awareness about
the importance of waste segregation and proper disposal methods.
• Implement a waste segregation system in public spaces and community
facilities, including clear signage and designated bins for recyclables,
biodegradables, and non-recyclables.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clean-up and waste
segregation efforts through community feedback and regular
assessments.

V. Expected Outcomes:

• Improvement in overall cleanliness and aesthetics of the community


environment
• Reduction in pollution and health hazards associated with improper
waste disposal.
• Increased community awareness and adoption of waste segregation

• Garbage Bags: PHP 100

VII. Conclusion:
The proposed project, "Clean-up and Segregate Waste for a
More Healthy Community," aims to address the escalating challenge of
cleanliness and waste management in Barangay San Jose. Through
comprehensive waste segregation initiatives and community-wide
clean-up efforts, we aspire to cultivate a cleaner, healthier environment
for all residents. By implementing various methods and activities, such
as conducting community assessments, recruiting and training
volunteers, and collaborating with local authorities, we anticipate
significant improvements in overall cleanliness, reduction in pollution
and health hazards, and increased awareness and adoption of waste
segregation practices among community members. With these efforts,
we strive to promote sustainable living habits and contribute to a more
vibrant and resilient community.
