Implementation:
December 21, 2020, is when I talked to the barangay captain together with some barangay officials
to tell them about my initiative in our community. I showed them the pictures I took before and the
nursing care plan I made. I emphasized that we must take an action so that we can decrease the
possibility of having a disease in the community related to not throwing of proper garbage and
make the community clean and green as well. They were happy to hear it and allowed me to
implement it. Since every Sunday the barangay truck is roaming around to get the trashes in every
houses, I printed a poster wherein they can give to the residents so that they will have an
awareness on the things they can recycle and not. Also, the head of the garbage collectors suggested
that they can use the megaphone to play throughout the collection of garbage so that they can hear
the precaution even if they are inside their homes. Included in that precaution is the protocol of the
barangay which is the policy of not getting the trash if not segregated properly. In my part, I am
happy as well because they have the right system and as a student and a citizen of our community, I
made a contribution even it is just little. December 27, 2020, I saw the improvement of the action
we have done. The garbage are properly stored in a sack and segregated well by the residents. The
surroundings are now clean and garbage cans are equally distributed in the barangay.
The poster that was printed and
given to the residents in our
barangay.

During the meeting with the

barangay councils. It was their
monthly meeting so I decided to go
there and talk to them.
December 27, 2020. They were
collecting garbage in our house and
saw that it was well segregated.

The outcome. The surroundings

were also cleaned because of proper
disposal.
