1.0 EHS OBJECTIVES AND TARGESTS

1.1 Procedure

EHS Objectives and Targets for significant activity performance shall be established /
documented by the activity responsible in co-ordination with HSE Manager.

The established EHS Objectives & Targets shall be proposed to Top Management for
review and approval.

In establishing EHS Objectives and Targets, following will be considered:

 Their consistency with company EHS Policy


 Technical Options
 Financial and Business Requirement
 Legal Requirements and its compliance
 Views of customers / clients
 Relevant to competent Authority Targets and Objectives
 Objectives shall be measurable with time frame
 Key Performance Indicators
 EHS Department Resources
 Lost time injury frequency rate
 Average # of Training hrs per employee
 Lost time Injury severity rate
 Total reportable case frequency
 Water consumption
 Power consumption
 Paper consumption
 Fuel consumption
 Non hazardous waste disposal / recycling
 Hazardous waste disposal / recycling
 No of written warnings from SRA
 Amount of fines / penalty from SRA

1.3 GENERAL COMPLIANCE EVALUATION

HSE Manager will ensure that compliance monitoring is formally done at least once a
year, preferably as part of the internal audits. The information and data are evaluated
reported to the management and presented in the management reviews.

The evaluation includes such elements as trend in performance in regulated activities;


summary of corrective actions and management programs initiated in response to
suspected non-compliances; results of internal and external compliance audits;
monitoring performance against KPI’s, and recommendations for new objectives and
targets, or changes in the EHS Management System to improve compliance.
