TOYOTA Motor

Toyota kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd is a subsidiary of Toyota Motor of Japan with
Kirloskar Group. This company manufactures cars in India. It is currently the
fourth largest car maker in India after Maruti Suzuki and Mahindra. This is the
joint venture automotive company which was found in 6 October 1997. The
headquarter of this company is in Bidadi, Bangalore, Karnataka. Total
production capacity is 320000 vehicles per annum.

Toyota is the brand very well-known in India and people trust this brand. In
2005 the Qualis was discounted from the market, in order to make the way for
a more modern vehicle, Innova replaced it. Toyota is the company which also
does CRS activities for the welfare of the people of the country. Some of the
activated that the company does are like skilled development, road safety,
environmental initiation, social contribution activities, education, health and
hygiene.

Above is the figure which shows all the CSR activates that Toyota companies do
for the welfare of the people of the India. CSR are the activities that change the
vision of the local people as this company provides education facilities, health
and hygiene, environment and many more. It brings awareness, preparedness,
and responses as per the felt need. It also brings the awareness among the
people about the importance of the education, health & hygiene, road safety,
and many more.
Education
Toyota contributes in the schools in India. Many children are getting free
education and free food provided by the company. This company donate huge
amount of money in the education facilities for the children who are unable to
get so.

As given in the diagram the Toyota company provides the educational

materials like books, copies, teaching kits which is very helpful for the lower
grates school so that they can provide free education and study materials to
the children of the country. It also provides English language training to the
teachers so that they can give quality education to the children. Education
plays vital role in the human life and by providing all these education facilities
for their welfare, the company is doing great work.

Objectives:

 Provide good infrastructures facilities to schools.

 Provide education learning materials to 140 schools every year.
 Provide skill enhancement training to 200 teachers every year.

Health & Hygiene

Toyota also focuses on health and hygiene of the people of the country as it
has done various activates in this factor like setting medical unit in rural area
and providing free medical services and medicines to the people which help
the people to have a good and healthy life. It also has placed pure drinking
water unit in various place in the rural area where there is very difficult to find
pure drinking water.

Heath and sanitation is most important for the people and Toyota is
contributing a lot to fulfill the basic need of pure water, health and sanitation
of the people who are unable to get all these in their life.

Objective:

 To provide pure drinking water at rural area.

 People of village can get the free medical facilities by mobile medical
units.

Environment
Environment is very important as it the places where we all live. And to
maintain the fresh and healthy environment Toyota is performing different
activity so that they can make the environment free from pollution.
Toyota has organized various environment awareness program in school,
village so that people and children can be aware of the importance of the
environment and the process of keeping it pollution free. Toyota has also done
lake rejuvenation which keeps the lake clean and living creature also stay
healthy under the water. Toyota has a vision to make the environment free
from the pollution and they are working on it effectively and efficiently.

Objective:

 Environment awareness program in schools, village.

 Promote Eco consciousness in the village.

Road and safety

Toyota also includes road and safety in there CSR activities. They create
responsible road users and road ambassadors by imparting training in good
practice on road safely. A safe road to drive is very important as nowadays
people are dying due to accident. So Toyota also provides driving class to the
people so that they can learn how to drive and know all the traffic rules.

Objectives:

 Building awareness level on Road safety to Airport Drivers in Bangalore,

Delhi, and Hyderabad.
 To monitor and facilities to improve health condition of the airport
drivers for better physical fitness.

Skill Development
Skill in people is very important as they can generate income by the skill they
have. Toyota also arrange Toyota technical training institute (TTTI). Huge
number of people comes to do training and polish their skill and learn various
things by which they can work in Toyota and generate income and have good
life style.

Toyota also provides Toyota technical Education (TTEP) to the local people so
that they can lean about the motors produced in the company and they can
work in the company after they have finished their training and education. All
these training and education is helping generate skilled manpower which leads
to the development of the company as well as the country itself as it has
reduced the unemployment percentage of the country. People are also
crossing the line of pervert due to these facilities.

Objective:

 To generate skilled manpower.

 To provide training to the people so that they can have a job and earn
money.
 To reduce unemployment from the country.
