The Capacity Building/Development for Post-Harvest is a project under the

Special Purpose Project 2023 which maintain and operate the Agri-Fishery Center that
provides processing technologies to clients such as students, researchers and
especially small growers, farmers association and fisherfolks.

For the whole year, the project conducted a total of 11 Hands-on Processing on
Agri-Fishery Commodities such as:

New products were also taught to processors such as papaya jam, papaya toffee,
among others in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). Additional
processing tools were also procured and provided to participants as part of their starter
kit.

AFC also became the venue of meetings, trainings, seminar and workshops as
well as lodging by other offices, agencies and others.
