Conduct a survey of digital media used by teachers in teaching and learning activities. Write

B. Perform the following activities:

1. Create a short video clip about a specific lesson using ICT tools. (Upload it on your gdrive
folder for FS) . What are your experiences in creating a video?

Answer: Making a video was challenging. It is difficult and requires time due of the watermark.
Some applications for video editing require payment before the watermark is eliminated. In order
to create a video to display, it should be given enough of time imaginative but condensed.

2. Prepare presentation slides regarding a specific topic using PowerPoint or other presentation
softwares. ((Upload it on your gdrive folder for FS). Describe the process of creating presentation
slides.

Answer: Making presentation slides for the students required a lot of work and periods. It is
particularly difficult when a teacher is not really a tech savy in ICT tools. But for me in our
generation since most of us having a digital gadgets and were already trained of using
technology it is convenient nowadays to prepare a presentation using PowerPoint rather than
takes time to write the lecture in a cartolina or in any paper.

3. Visit the DepEd Learning Portal through https://lrmds.deped.gov.ph/k_to_12Links to an


external site.. Check and observe how the learning portal is designed. Describe your experience
in assessing information from the portal. Write down your observation below.

Answer: The website worked well; you could select the grade level to view the subjects covered
at that grade level it is very convenient for the teacher to find the appropriate lessons that they
will lecture in accordingly.

4. Using Google or other research engines, look for Open Educational Resources online and try
to download an e-book. List down the websites where you downloaded the materials.

Answer: I can’t find any OER online to download some e-books it is hard to find.
