Scenario 1: The Restaurant

1. How will you manage the conflict in this situation?

I will address the issue as a manager or team leader using the three-stage approach of
handling conflict teams. I'll prepare a resolution and discuss it with Bea and the other
staff members to let them know that it's improper to chat with a customer in a crowded
restaurant when everyone is busy and trying to fit more customers in. Of course, I need to
understand the situation in my capacity as manager. I'll let her continue speaking with our
VIP customer before speaking with her later about the problem and even the other staff
members who are also speaking with consumers. Finally, we need to reach an agreement
that they can only speak with consumers if they are not fully accommodated; but, if they
are, we need to move more quickly because we still need to be devoted to working and
raising everyone's performance.

2. How will you build an effective team after this incident?

I will take responsibility as a leader and cultivate connections with the team members. In
our workplace, honesty and openness must be encouraged. Additionally, we can increase
trust, cooperation, and communication among all parties to make it simpler to settle
disputes and reduce misunderstandings. We may also quickly evaluate each team
member's perspective skills to raise output and performance. It's crucial to promote
cooperation, establish ground rules, and build team principles to urge everyone to be
open and cooperative and to prevent further problems in the future.
