    Factors of 36: 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 6 , 9 , 12 , 18 , 36
    Then, divide the numerator and denominator by common factor.

    36 36 ÷ 18 2
    Now, there is no common factor of 1 and 2. So, 1 is the lowest form of 18 .
