DEMONSTRATION
THE BLACK PRINCIPLE CONCEPT

Temperature consist of two types which are hot and

cold. Temperature can have many variations from higher
or lower. Heat is an energy that can be transferred
through convection, conduction and radiation. The
black principle is transferred through convection
because a substance is liquid. The black principles is
when two substances with different temperatures are
mixed together. The object with higher temperature will
release heat to the substance with lower temperature,
then the lower temperature will cool down the
substance with higher temperature.
PROBLEM
SOLVING
STEP 1 : GIVEN
SUBSTANCE A SUBSTANCE B
1 2
m1= 42g m2= 60g
t1= 60'c t2= 25'c
c1= 3.87 J/g'c c2= 2.42 J/g'c

UNKNOWN = Tf
STEP 2 : SOLUTION
M1 X C1 X (T1-TF) = M2 X C2 X (TF-T2)
=42 X 3.87 X (60-TF) = 60 X 2.42 X (TF-25)
=162.54 X (60-TF) = 145.2 X (TF-25)
=9,752.4 - 162.54TF = 145.2TF - 3,630
=9,752.4 + 3,630 = 145TF + 162.54TF
=13,382.4 = 307.74TF

TF= 13,382.4
_________
307.74
= 43.48'c
STEP 3 : CONCLUTION

THE FINAL TEMPERATURE OF THE TWO MIXTURES IS 43.48'C

REFLECTION
From doing this equation I know that the
black principle can be important on daily
basis. For example when we want to make
warm water we need to calculate the
amount of water that we pour in a mug so
that the water may not be to hot and burn
our tounge.
