1. Intermodal carriers are the method of transportation that DHL uses.

As we all know,
intermodal refers to the transportation of freight using many modes of transportation.
Moreover, in this post, through their extensive fleet of trucks and airplanes, DHL is explicitly
assured of offering effective and efficient logistics services. Meaning to state that they have
utilized many forms of transportation to move, deliver, and offer services to their clients.
Therefore, the corporation wouldn't be able to provide their consumers with the goods or
services they need on schedule without these intermodal carriers.

2. Carriage paid is an Incoterms clause that applies to Shoppee's delivery service to its clients.
In this case, the seller covers the cost of transportation to the specified location. Meaning that
the seller is responsible for any damage or loss because they are first and foremost required to
achieve export clearance.

3. In my opinion, it is still preferable for DHL to engage an intermodal carrier because doing so
will make it simpler for them to transport their clients' products or services, even those who are
located abroad or across international borders. Although employing rail as a means of
transportation offers the lowest cost, it still requires a significant capital expenditure to be able
to attain it. I still advise using the intermodal carrier.
