PUBLIC NOTICE
WRITTEN CSS COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION-2024
(Apply online well before 8th November 2024. Also deposit hardcopy of online application form
alongwith requisite documents)
1. All candidates who have qualified MCQ Based Preliminary Test (MPT) for CSS CE-2024 and intend to
appear in written part of CSS Competitive Examination, 2024 may apply online through FPSC official
website up-till 8th January, 2024.
2. The written part of CSS Written Competitive Examination-2024 will be held w.e.f. 29th February, 2024
(Thursday).
3. The Examination will be held at19 Cities as mentioned vide Rule 3 (3) of CE Rules, 2019.
4. Number of vacancies to be filled on the basis of CSS Written Competitive Examination-2024 will be
announced later.
5. ELIGIBILITY:
(a) Only MPT CE-2024qualifiers can appear in written part of CSS CE-2024.
(b) Must have atleast 2nd Division Bachelor’s degree.
(c) Age between 21 – 30 years. Two years age relaxation shall be admissible only to categories specified
in Rule-6 of CSS Competitive Examination Rules, 2019 available on FPSC website.
(d) The cutoff date for determining the eligibility of the candidate in terms of age, qualification, domicile
etc, is 31st December, 2023, as per Rule 5 of the CSS Competitive Examination Rules, 2019.
(e) In terms of Rule 11(20) and 11(21) of the CSS Competitive Examination Rules, 2019, candidates
shall be admitted to the examination provisionally at their own risk subject to their being found
eligible in all respects. On detailed scrutiny of the applications after the announcement of result of the
written examination, if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under these rules, his
candidature shall be cancelled and rejected regardless of the fact whether he has appeared in the
examination or qualified therein. Therefore, candidates must ensure before applying that they fulfill
all requirements of the rules, relating to the CSS Competitive Examination.
6. PROCEDURE TO APPLY:
(a) Deposit examination fee @ Rs.2200/-on or before 8th January, 2024 in the nearest Government
Treasury/State Bank of Pakistan/National Bank of Pakistan under the account head “C02101-Organs of
State Exam fee (FPSC Receipt) through challan form available on website.
(b) Submit online application to FPSC on or before 8thJanuary, 2024 available at FPSC website.
Choose optional subjects in terms of Appendix-I of CSS CE Rules, 2019. Choose Examination Centre
carefully. Subsequent changes in optional subjects and Examination Centre may not be allowed.
(c) Duly signed hardcopy of online application alongwith original Treasury Receipt and attested copies of
Matric certificate, Intermediate certificate, Graduation certificate, degrees, CNIC, domicile etc and four
photographs must reach FPSC on or before 18thJanuary, 2024. If hardcopy/documents reach to FPSC
after 18th January, 2024 it would not be accepted and candidature will be rejected.
7. Online Application, Challan Form, Rules & Syllabus for Written CSS Competitive Examination are
available on FPSC Website www.fpsc.gov.pk
8. Admission Certificates for CSS written examination shall be uploaded on website by 20th February, 2024
from where candidates may download the same. No separate intimation through post will be sent to
candidates.
9. All candidates are cautioned that they should prefer online submission of applications without waiting for the
last date. FPSC shall not be responsible for any non-submission due to heavy load on website in the last hours.
Likewise, submission of hardcopy of application alongwith requisite documents should be dispatched as early
as possible in order to avoid possibility of rejection due to late receipt in FPSC for any unexpected
circumstances / delays in postage etc.
