We, the staff of the Michelin Sales Training Center (MSTC) welcome you and are pleased that you
are attending the Earthmover Tire Service Technician Seminar - Basic, on March 5 – March 7,
2019. Please keep in mind, the TIA videos and examination, which are now a prerequisite
for this seminar, must be completed before attending this training. You may plan to arrive at
the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) on Monday evening, March 4th. The
seminar will end Thursday at 5:00pm. Make connections to leave Greenville NO EARLIER
THAN 7:00 PM Thursday evening March 7th.
Michelin has secured lodging for you beginning March 4th. All room charges and taxes will be
covered by Michelin. Your room will be held for you at the Crowne Plaza Greenville, Ph#864-
297-6300. If your plans change and you cannot attend this Seminar, please notify Beverly
Wenger at MSTC as soon as possible so your room reservation can be canceled. Failure to do so
will result in your company being billed one night’s room and tax by the hotel.

If you are driving to the seminar each day and do not need a hotel room, please contact the
Michelin Sales Training Center, so we can plan accordingly. If you require driving directions,
please contact the hotel at the number listed.

Michelin has teamed up with Tire Industry Association (TIA) to offer the TIA certificate of
completion for those who complete the course, pass the test, and demonstrate the required hands-
on tasks. Not only will each person receive a certificate from Michelin, but also from TIA upon
submission of the required paperwork.

If you are currently recovering from an injury or under the care of a physician for any
Medical condition, please bring a release from your physician allowing you to work under
normal conditions. If needed, reschedule for a later course date offered, once you have
been fully released from physician care.

Hotel March 4th: A guaranteed late arrival reservation is in your name at:

Attire for Seminar: Day 1: Neat, casual business attire is appropriate: slacks, shirts with collars.

Days 1, 2 & 3: Wear Work Clothes and bring your steel toed safety shoes, otherwise you will not be
able to participate in the hands-on practice, and therefore will be unable to
complete the training.

Note: On Day 3 you may want to bring casual business attire for your travel home. You will be
given time to change before going to the airport.

Delays/Cancellation: If you experience delays in your travel, notify the hotel at the number above. Your reservation is
guaranteed for late arrival only until 11:00 p.m. If you call, they will hold your room.

If you must cancel, call the Training Center at (864) 422-3000 weekdays between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00
p.m. ET. If canceling the evening before your training begins, it will be necessary for you to also
contact the hotel directly and cancel your accommodations. Keep in mind that your company may
be responsible for any last minute cancellation if neither us, nor the hotel is contacted.

Transportation: Airport to Hotel: Call the hotel at the number above from the baggage claim area for free
transportation. Your dealership is responsible for transportation costs including airfare.

Hotel to MSTC: A MSTC representative will meet you outside the front entrance of the hotel at 7:15am.

Dinner: A dinner hosted by Michelin Earthmover at 6:30 PM on Wednesday night. Attire: Business Casual.

Your transportation will depart for the training center promptly at 7:30a.m. each morning!

Please bring your Steel Toe Safety Shoes. Without the required PPE, you will not be able to participate.
