Warm Christian Greetings!

I am ARNEL C. LAS MARIAS, Senior High School Teacher II, teaching Philosophy
and Values subject at Talakag National High School since September 13, 2017 and presently
residing at Landing, Talakag, Bukidnon. I got married last June 28, 2017 to FEMME N. LAS
MARIAS, Secondary School Teacher I, teaching English subjects at Malaybalay National High
School, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon since June 2018.
Based on DepEd Order No. 22, s. 2013, dated April 17, 2013 also known as “Revised
Guidelines on the Transfer of Teachers from One Station to Another” stipulated some situations
to be given priority when a teacher is seeking transfer to another station and one of this is when
“The teacher is joining his/her husband/wife in the same school” which is also inline to the
RA No. 4670 known as Magna Carta for Public School Teachers.
As per information indicated under the Division of Malaybalay Memorandum Order No.
16, 2020 to the “APPLICATION OF TRANSFER UNDER THE DIVISION”, I have the honor
to submit this letter of intent.
In view hereof, I am appealing to your good office that my transfer under the auspices of
the division superintendent will be approved, this transfer would be of great help particularly for
the following reasons:
1. It would lessen the emotional distress to our relationship due to distance of our
workplaces especially we are starting to build our own family;
2. It will minimize our financial expenses (boarding house, fare, and foods) especially
that we have a two children, aged one year and two year old respectively.
 3. To have more time in preparing my lessons because during weekends I spent almost
sixteen 10 hours of travel from Kalasungay to Talakag and vice versa.

Hoping for your consideration and I am looking forward for your affirmative response
regarding this request.
