RESOLUTION NO. 2022-005

A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE USE OF SMALL VALUE PROCUREMENT (SECTION 53.9 OF
REVISED IRR OF RA 9184)AS AN APPROPRIATE ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF PROCUREMENT FOR
THE FOLLOWING:

WHEREAS, the Sangginiang Kabataan of Barangay Cabezas has a Purchase Request with PR No. 22-5-
003 to procure the following: Purchased of Trophy and Medal for Inter Color Baskeball League 2022 of
Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Cabezas, Trece Martires City, Cavite is an urgent need.

WHEREAS, initial assessment of the Inspection Committee reveals that the costs of the said goods/services
is below/ around ( 50,000.00 )

WHEREAS, as a general rule, all the procurement shall be done through Competitive Public Bidding
except whenever justified by the conditions in order to promote economy and efficiency, may resort to any of the
Alternative Method of Procurement;

WHEREAS, under Section 53.9 of the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulation of R.A. 9184, when
the goods and services sought to be procured are of Small Value and the amount involved does not exceed P
50,000.00 which is the threshold prescribed in Annex “H”of the Revised IRR of RA9184, public bidding is no
longer required

NOW, THEREFORE, We the member of the Sangguniang Kabataan Bids and Awards Committee, hereby
RESOLVE as it is hereby RESOLVE:

a. To recommend that the items be procured via Alternative Methods of Procurement Pursuant to the
Rule XVI of the Revised IRR of RA 9184 under Small Value Procurement.
b. To recommend for the approval by the SK Chaiman the foregoing findings.

RESOLVE, at the BARANGAY HALL, BARANGAY Cabezas, this 16th day of May 2022.
