GEN INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRESIDENT`S CUP

TO BE CONDUCTED ON 09 SEP 2023

1. President`s Cup will be conducted on 09 Sep 2023 (Saturday) at ASC EPTA. The
tournament is planned over 18 holes. Tee off will be at 1200h (Gun Shot Start) and reporting time
will be at 1130h.

2. The maximum str will be 72 participants on first come first registered basis. The registration
will open on 28 Aug 2023 and will close on 07 Sep 2023 or as and when the str of 72 (18 four balls)
is completed. Remaining indls registering will be placed as reserve to be accommodated for
cancellations.

3. No change of four ball will be permitted.

4. Format: The tournament will be played on Stroke Play.

5. Participation All members of ASC EPTA are eligible to participate.

6. All members desirous of participating may register their name in the register kept with the
starter / on Phone No 080-29514550 and whatsapp number 7338583121 latest by 1700h on
07 Sep 2023 for President`s Cup. No repeat No names will be considered for addn / delection after
07 Sep 2023. Absentees will be charged full amt. List of four ball will be put up on Notice Bd by
1000h on 09 Sep 2023.

Major Prizes
(a) Winner of President`s Cup (Overall Best Gross)
(b) Cat I (Handicap 0-14) - Winner & Runner Up
(c) Cat II (Handicap 15-18) - Winner & Runner Up
(d) Cat III (Handicap 19-24) - Winner & Runner Up
(e) Cat V (Ladies & Children) - Winner & Runner Up
(f) Cat VI Ladies Putting - Winner & Runner Up
(g) Cat IV (Oldest participant) - Winner

8. Laides will be accommodated in the main tournament (if inadequate registration) and will be
recognized as participation. Veterans above 75 yrs, Ladies & Children will tee off from Red tee box.

9. Jury.

10. Ladies Putting A ladies putting will be organized in practice green area from 1730h
onwards. Ladies are encouraged to participate.

11. Dress for the participation. Dress will be as per golf rules.

12. Rules

(a) Conduct. A marker will accompany each four ball and will maintain the score of
each player. Decision of marker is final and binding. Score will be updated through the
marker after ninth and eighteenth holes for speedy updating of results.
 (b) Local rules as laid down in ASC Golf Course will be adhered to. Salient aspects are
as under:-
(a) OB/Rough as marked.
(b) No preferred lie will be permitted for the President`s Cup.
(c) Putt will not be given.
(d) 3 mins for searching lost ball.

15. Refreshments & Cocktails. Refreshments and heavy snacks will be provided on course.
Between 1200-1400h. The tournament will culminate with cocktail and prize distribution.
Non-participating ladies / dependents joining high tea and cocktails will be billed at Rs 200/- per
head.

16. Maint of Course Course will remain closed on 08 Sep 2023 for maintenance & 09 Sep for
tournament however, practice range will remain open. In case tournament is oversubscribed on
08 Sep 2023 may be utilized for reserve players participation in the President`s Cup as per decision
of mgt.
