Because of its economic and environmental disadvantages traditional jeepney should be replaced by

modern jeepney

Traditional jeepneys should be replaced by modern jeepneys. Because, traditional jeepneys has a lot
of disadvantages for example, their colorful facades are outdated and uncomfortable, especially
during rush hour. Jeepneys are often poorly maintained, and the driving style of some operators can
be reckless, so they may not be the safest form of transportation.

According to the Land Transportation Franchising & Regulatory Board (LTFRB). The Philippine
government supports the modernization of jeepneys to reduce environmental impact and improve
job opportunities. The program, which includes the phaseout of outdated models, aims to reduce air
pollution and carbon emissions from outdated vehicles. The process also requires skilled vehicle
manufacturing workers to create new models and drivers, creating new job opportunities and
enhancing the aesthetics of roads. Conventional jeepneys are outdated and not appealing, requiring
replacement for modernization and commuter safety.

This is exactly what modernized jeepneys are for — phase out the old jeepneys to make way for
newer, safer, more environmentally friendly air-conditioned minibusses.
