School-based Basic Education School Training (BEST)

for Teachers
S. Y. 2021-2022
September 6-7, 2021

Teachers professional development like in-service training is

essential and key to education improvement. As its aims to improve our
teaching skills, enrich practices of the most effective strategies, upskilling
and reskilling educators, ABES 2 conducted 2-day School-based Basic
Education School Training for teachers for continual improvement and
learning of educators. With the effectiveness of training, resource
speakers and trainers, it leads to enriched learning outcome and
development of teachers. With the application of what we acquired from
training, we come up with quality education personality improvement
and development.

With this school year’s training, I learned and appreciated much the
topics given and shared by various speakers where the need of teachers
to be technologically aware and develop various skills was addressed. I
think with ample time we could learn more and grow professionally and
embrace the changes brought to us by pandemic. I am hopeful that
with this time of crisis still it could bring brighter future for our young
leaders and treasure of our country.

ABES 2 LAC Session Reflection

As way of helping us teachers improve our performance and

to assure the quality of education we deliver, the department tries
its best to hone our capacities and potentials and make us more
competent, effective and efficient. As it aims to help and empower
us by improving our various skills in teaching, online training and
series of LAC Sessions were conducted to guide us in the
implementation of Modular Learning and delivering quality
education through Modular classes.

As IPCRF is presented in this LAC session, I realized that I

need to improve my performance and do my duties and
responsibilities expected to me. This LAC session helped me
improve my practice, nurture me and lead me towards better
achievement of my learners. IPCRF challenged me to become
better teacher and to do my best. The indicators will serve me as
my guide for my improvement and success of my learners.
LAC Session Reflection

After series of LAC Sessions, I realized that in this time of

pandemic there are many changes that I should embrace and
accept. With parents who undergo challenges and difficulties in
teaching their children in answering modules, I should also find
ways to help them and their children reach their goal to finish their
education and to lighten their burdens. Creating mechanisms in
the conduct of Modular classes, will greatly help in the
implementation of education. I realized that with our
collaboration and teamwork, no learners will be left behind. The
key to success in this Modular Learning for me is the passion for
service to clientele in delivering quality education in this time of
pandemic.
