URBAN SKETCH

PART ONE: NEIGHBORHOOD STREET

Neighborhood streets are streets that are designed to serve and connect
residential areas with destinations such as homes, schools, parks, and
neighborhood retail. They are the front doors to homes, schools, stores,
restaurants, and extensions of parks and playgrounds. Neighborhood streets
should provide safe and inviting places to walk with direct access to local
stores and schools. They play a crucial role in building communities and
creating a sense of belonging.
