D RUNNING TOOL

Application:

• Used to run no-go Type C, CS, CC, and CSC locks and certain
B series Safety Valves.

Features:

• External Fishing neck

• Fishing neck is threaded internally to accept a prong

Operation:

The lock is shear pinned to the skirt of the running tool. The
assembly is run in the tubing until the lock no-go lands on the
nipple no-go. Downward jarring drives the lock expander tube
down and locks the dogs in the nipple. To retrieve the running
tool, jar upward to shear the pins and pull the tool from the well.
