I. BACKGROUND

Creation: Kicukiro HC has been created in 1992

Location: Kicukiro District, Niboye Sector, Niboye Cell , Taba Village

Population: Kicukiro HC serves the Population of ~ 47189 from 6 Cells and 56 Villages
Health Posts: Kicukiro HC has 1 Health Posts in Kagarama Sector , Mayange Cell where provide services like OPD
and FP
Community health: Kicukiro health center works with 174 Community health workers: 56 are ASM (In charge of
Maternal Health) and 118 are Binomes
Staff: Kicukiro Helth center has: 43 staffs: 20 Nurses, 1 Midwives, 4 Lab technician, 6 social workers, 2 Data
manager, 1 Hygienist and Community Health supervisor Office, 1Customer care, 1 accountant, 2cashier and
3 data entry.

II. SERVICES PROVIDED BY KICUKIRO HC

Consultation (OPD), Hospitalization, Ante natal care (ANC), Maternity, Family planning Natural, Vaccination
(Immunization), Post natal care, mental health, Nutrition, Laboratory, VCT: Voluntary counseling test, PIT, ARV,
TB, CBHI (Community Based Health Insurance) and Male Circumcision
In summary:
 In ANC service, we serve 104 new pregnant women per month in average
 In Maternity, Average of Deliveries per month is 52.
 In OPD, 2800 persons frequent the health center per month
 Population from out of our catchment area: average 550 per month
 We have 33 beds of patients
 In Hospitalization, 7 patients are admitted per month

III. ACHIEVEMENT/January –December 2018

 Assisted Delivery: 85%

 ANC 1st vists: 99%, ANC 4 standard visits: 31%
 Immunization:
- MR1: 109% - MR2: 94.6%
 PMTCT tested partners: 78%
