BUDI DOREMI

Syahbudin syukur, or better known as Budi Do Re Mi, was born in Serang, Banten, 19
September 1984. A successful solo singer with the song "Do Re Mi" which has brightened the
Indonesian music scene. Budi calls his music genre Pop Reggaegeneration, namely a Pop
genre that is refreshed with a touch of Reggae rhythms. He is the son of Rachmatullah and
Swaryah. Growing up as a teenager in Banten and Lampung, he migrated to Yogyakarta.
From that city he was exposed to various types of music genres. At one time, Budi was also
crazy about skillful music such as Van Hallen, Extreme, Mr. Big to God Bless. Budi was
reportedly close to a beautiful artist named Soraya Larasati. However, until now he still does
not want to reveal the identity of his lover even though he has admitted that he has a
girlfriend.

Budi started his career in Bandung. He began to decide to become a solo singer when he
was in the city. When he had the opportunity to meet with WannaB Records, he gave a demo
of his song which then made his name famous. The song Do Re Mi is the first song he
released after joining WannaB Music Production. This song has now become Budi's identity,
so he is better known as Budi Do Re Mi. His relaxed musical style makes his music popular
with young people. After the single Do Re Mi made him enter the realm of Indonesian music,
he released a second single, namely 123456. This single also made Budi's name increasingly
known to the public. He was also appointed to be the presenter of a music program on one of
the country's private stations. Now, Budi has finally released his first album entitled “1 HARI
YANG CERAH”. He was also trusted to fill in the soundtrack for the film GERIMIS
MENGUNDANG by singing the song with the same title, namely Gerimis inviting with
singer from Malaysia, Brenda Anura.
