and power generation capacities of global scale. JSPL has created cutting-edge capacities to
produce upto 9.95 Million Tonne Per Annum (MTPA) Iron through a judicious mix of Direct
Reduced Iron (DRI), Blast Furnace and Hot Briquetted Iron (HBI) Routes catering to its 10.1
MTPA Liquid Steelmaking capacities across three locations in India and abroad (3.6 MTPA at
Raigarh, 6.0 MTPA at Angul & 2.0 MTPA at Sohar-Oman). In India, the company has a well
spread out installed finished steel capacity of 6.80 MTPA prudently spread over Bar Mills,
Plate Mills, Rail and Universal Beam Mill (RUBM), Medium & Light Structural Mill (MLSM),
and Wire Rod Mill. JSPL’s captive iron ore mines at Tensa, Odisha have a production capacity
of 3.11 MTPA. The company owns and operates combined power generation capacities of
5034 MW including the 3400 MW O.P. Jindal Super Thermal Power complex at Tamnar,
Chhattisgarh. Alongside contributing to India's growth story the company is driving an
ambitious global expansion plan with its sights set on emerging as a leading transnational
business group. The company continues to capitalise on opportunities in high growth
markets, expanding its core areas and diversifying into new businesses. JSPL’s global
operations include a 2 MTPA integrated steel complex at Sohar, Oman and 6.6 MTPA coal-
mining operations spread across South Africa, Mozambique and Australia. The company’s
export portfolio is growing by the day with an existing export footprint in 22 countries.

JSPL is presently having 9.60 MTPA capacity steel plants at Raigarh, Patratu and Angul.

 All facilities at JSPL are ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 & BIS certified.
 TMT rebar rolling technology from Morgan, USA (at Patratu) & SMS MEER (at Angul)
to produce very high quality TMT Re-bars.
 The mills are having latest HYQST (High Yield Quenching & Self-Tempering)
 Steel grade Fe 500D/550D/600 as per IS 1786:2008 as well as EQR (Earthquake
resistant, Fe500S) and CRS (Corrosion Resistant Steel, CRS) grade.
We also provide angle, channel, parallel flange beams, columns, plates, rails and wire rods.

Realizing the growing market need and requirements in the country JSPL has also developed
ready to use Cut & Bend Profiles and Wire Mesh as per design and drawing provided by
Customer.

Distinctive Features of JSPL’s JINDAL PANTHER Fe550D TMT Rebars

• Superior strength (Actual YS > 575 MPa) without compromising on ductility in

comparison to Fe500D; % Elongation ≥ 16%

• Greater resistance to applied forces and higher toughness as total elongation at

maximum load ≥ 8% against IS-1786 requirement of minimum 5% value.

• Close control over chemistry and mechanical property with minimum deviation.

• JSPL also offers earthquake resistant rebar (Fe500S with UTS/YS ≥ 1.25).
