NOTES
1. Flow orifices flanges to be supplied by instrument manufacturer.
2. Use socket weld x threaded end gate valves for instrument connections and drains.
3. 5-d bends shall be used for line size 1 ½ “and smaller.
4. Use 300# flanges at equipments and control valves, if required.
5. Screwed connections shall used for inst. Connections, vents & drains.

BRANCH CONNECTION CHART

Branch piping, including integrally reinforced branch connection fittings, shall be attached to the header piping by means of full
penetration groove weld and shall be finished with a cover fillet weld of the size shown in the above chart
Reinforcing pads shall be attached to branch piping by means of a full penetration groove weld and shall be finished with a
cover fillet weld of the size shown in the above chart.
All threadolet branch connection fittings shall be 3000 lb. forged steel.
All branch connections shall be made in accordance with details contained in Std for field fabricated piping systems.
