Guidelines for Students

Instructions to Candidates

Speaking Test

The Speaking Test is conducted at your faculty.

1. Check with your faculty to determine the slot that you have been assigned to.
2. Be at the assigned venue at least 30 minutes before the writing test begins. The duration
of the test is 1 hour.
3. Remember to bring the following items with you:
i) MyKad
ii) Student ID
iii) Printed exam slip

*No other materials are allowed in the examination room

4. Register your attendance with the invigilators at the venue.

5. You will be directed to your respective terminal by the invigilators.
6. Place items i, ii, and iii at the top right corner of your table throughout the test.
7. Switch off your hand phones and leave it on the floor.
8. Follow the instructions given by the invigilators.
9. Consult the technician/s should you face any technical issues.
10. Listen carefully to the recording. Use the preparation time given wisely.
11. You can only leave the examination room when permitted by the invigilators.
12. Be sure to go through the following documents before the day of the test.
